It's amazing that the Jeep front end and overall design hasn't changed much since the 1941 Willys. Can you imagine driving a Chrysler or a Ford with the same design as a 41 model? In fact there is almost a Jeep personality. If you think of the typical Jeep owner, can you envision what they like to do? You are probably imagining someone who loves the outdoors - hiking, biking, fishing, camping. That is so weird that a personality goes for a certain vehicle.

Another interesting think about Jeep owners and Jeeps is the level of personalization. Occasionally you will see a stock Jeep but most times there are some after market items added to the car. Even if it's just a smiley face wheel cover or a "It's a jeep thing, you won't understand" windshield banner. I've known a couple guys who had Jeeps and every time they added something to it, like a metal headlight cover or a new bikini top they had to show me. They were obsessive about it. Any vehicle that can get that kind of response out of someone is special indeed.

The temperature is 75, the sky is robin egg blue and the breeze is light. Near you a convertible can be seen. The driver is basking in the warm sun and their hair is moving with the breeze. Imagine the minivan that you're sitting in isn't quite as nice. BAM...Convertible envy sets in. If you own a convertible you've seen this look before. The longing look, the whisper of a smile as they daydream about owning a convertible.

My question is why don't they buy one? Most convertibles seat 4 people, some even seat 5 so why not enjoy a convertible? Admittedly there is a little more maintenance but it's only every 5 years or so.
